Supply chain planner

Function

For the vacancy of supply chain planner at our client, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You analyse customer orders, forecasts, stock levels and available production capacity with regard to raw materials, packaging materials, ... and determine the requirements to keep the production flow running efficiently
• You create production orders and batches in SAP and align timing and priorities with production
• You monitor the execution of the planning and evaluate changes in forecasts in order to respond accordingly
• In the event of deviations or changes, you take action to make adjustments where necessary and try to prevent stock shortages or excess stock through effective stock management
• You manage the planning and requirements for introducing new materials with the relevant parties
• You proactively contribute ideas for improvements in processes, planning and stock management
• You work daytime hours from Monday to Friday on a 39-hour schedule

Profile

For the vacancy of supply chain planner at our client, you recognise yourself in the following competencies:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business management or a comparable field, but preferably have initial positive experience in planning within the supply chain
• You already have initial experience with an ERP package; knowledge of SAP is a major plus
• You are analytically minded and translate your knowledge into a plan of action
• You handle deadlines accurately and adapt well to changes
• You are able to express yourself professionally in Dutch and English
