Supervisor technical department

Function

The Technical Services Supervisor is responsible for the operational and technical management of a team of technicians. He/she provides daily direction, planning, coaching and support to the team. In addition, he/she monitors the continuity of production, follows up technical interventions and, if necessary, collaborates on maintenance and improvement tasks himself/herself.

Tasks

• Operational management of technicians
• Following up, adjusting, supporting and coaching technicians during the execution of tasks
• Monitoring attendance, breaks and compliance with rules
• Preparation and management of work orders, maintenance plans and technical documentation
• Coordinating breakdowns and preventive and curative maintenance
• Taking part in fault analysis, maintenance work and technical rounds
• Taking care of daily shift handover
• Monitoring progress and quality of work performed
• Following up on conversion procedures and times
• Actively contribute to improvement projects within the technical department

Profile

• Holds a technical degree (Graduate or Bachelor) in electromechanics, maintenance engineering or a similar field
• Has several years of experience in a technical environment
• Has a strong knowledge of mechanics, electricity and pneumatics (knowledge of refrigeration is a plus)
• Has knowledge of MS Office
• Has knowledge of Lean/5S (plus)
• Is organisationally strong and works accurately and in a structured way
• Possesses good technical insight and can independently prepare and follow up work assignments
• Communicates clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing
• Speaks fluent Dutch and has a good knowledge of English
• Is flexible and can cope with changing priorities
• Is solution-oriented, thinks about improvements and takes initiative
