Maintenance coordinator

Function

As a work planner within the technical department, you will be responsible for preparing, planning and coordinating maintenance, overhaul and improvement work on installations, production lines and facilities. You ensure that all technical interventions are carried out efficiently, safely and on schedule, with minimal impact on production.

What are your duties?

• Daily tours of production, consulting with technicians and production managers, translating observations into corrective actions.
• Follow up, adjust, support and coach the technicians during the execution of the work.
• Leading shift handover.
• Prepare and manage work orders, maintenance plans and technical documentation.
• Preparing work orders: providing materials, checking feasibility, explaining to foreman(s), following up and checking work.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance in collaboration with technicians, production and external partners.
• Prepare planned shutdowns and conversion activities, including material supply and safety measures.
• Requesting and reviewing quotes, ordering parts and services.
• Monitor progress and quality of work performed.
• Manage technical stock and follow up on deliveries.
• Report deviations, faults and maintenance dates to HTD.
• Support billing and time recording of external parties.
• Actively contribute to improvement projects within the technical department.
• Preparation of work permits/fire permits and risk analysis.
• Actively engages in keeping the workshop/technical warehouses clean and in order.
• Participates actively in stock correctness of the technical warehouses (taking stock, booking out, booking in, etc.).

Profile

• You have a technical degree (Graduate or Bachelor) in electromechanics, maintenance engineering or a similar field.
• You have several years of experience in a technical environment, preferably within the food sector.
• You will work smoothly with colleagues from engineering, production, engineering and logistics.
• You are organisationally strong and work accurately and in a structured way.
• You have a good technical understanding and can prepare and follow up work assignments independently.
• You are familiar with maintenance systems and have knowledge of work permits and safety procedures.
• You communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing.
• You speak fluent Dutch and have a good basic knowledge of English.
• You are flexible and can cope with changing priorities
• You are solution-oriented, think about improvements and take initiative.
• You work punctually, are quality-conscious and have an eye for detail.
