Purchasing officer

Function

For a growing player within the distribution of quality automotive products in the Benelux, we are looking for an enthusiastic and inquisitive Junior Purchasing Manager.

In this role:

• Be the point of contact for suppliers and transporters
• Ensure an efficient ordering process and accurate stock management
• Be responsible for preparing price lists, handling warranties and managing items
• Work closely with the sales team and be the bridge between buying and selling
• Develop into a specialist in the product range
• Actively pursue new opportunities with both existing and potential suppliers

Profile

• Possessing a bachelor's degree or equivalent thinking skills.
• Fluent communication in Dutch, French and English, both orally and in writing.
• Strong skills in MS Office, with emphasis on Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Structured and accurate work, with strong organisational skills.
• Interest in technical products and their operation.
• Enthusiastic, eager to learn and proactive.
• Experience in purchasing is a plus but not a requirement.
