Study engineer large-scale metal structures

Function

As a Study Engineer, you will be responsible for the preparation and technical elaboration of large-scale projects from A to Z. You will collaborate on installations such as movable bridges, pumping installations, hydropower applications and systems for water treatment and sludge processing.

You start by analysing and studying mainly public tenders and translate them into technically sound files. In doing so, you support designers, draughtsmen and project leaders with mechanical calculations and technical preparations.

In addition:

• work out preliminary designs and technical concepts;
• prepare technical files and project documentation;
• you actively think about innovative and technically feasible solutions;
• work with project engineers, designers, suppliers and customers;
• you contribute to technically challenging projects where you create visible impact.

Profile

• You have a master's degree in engineering sciences, preferably mechanics or electromechanics.
• You have a strong interest in large-scale metal structures and infrastructure projects.
• You are analytically strong and have an affinity for technical calculations.
• You have an interest in new technologies and innovative technical solutions.
• You have an affinity for steel structures, mechanical machining and assembly processes.
• You work accurately and monitor the quality of your projects.
• You are a team player who enjoys working with different technical disciplines.
• Experience in public procurement or government projects is a plus.
