Site manager Telecom
Function
As a Site Manager Telecom, you will be responsible for the smooth running of various sites within our telecom projects in the East Flanders and West Flanders region. You will work closely with the project leader and contribute at all levels, from study and design to organisation and planning.
- Manage and monitor your assigned sites including fibreglass welders, blowing crews and assembly works.
- Frequent contact and cooperation with regulators and clients.
- Search for quality and customer-oriented solutions to a variety of challenges.
- Control of all sites under your project leader with a focus on quality, safety and sustainability.
- Organising site visits in the morning and administrative work and planning in the afternoon.
Profile
We are looking for a passionate Site Manager with technical understanding and a hands-on mentality. School leavers are welcome and will have the opportunity to learn the trade.
- A bachelor's degree in electromechanics, construction, electrical engineering, ICT, telecom or electricity, or equivalent through experience.
- Knowledge of telecoms and ICT is an advantage.
- Familiar with MS Office, knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
- Eager to learn and quickly proficient in new programmes and apps.
- Strong in organisation, quality, safety and responsibility.
- Respect for the environment and sustainability-oriented.
- Experience and knowledge of fibre optics is considered a plus.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams.
- Willing to do on-call shifts from Friday to Friday every 5-8 weeks.
Organisation
Our client is a well-established contracting company with several departments.
Among other things, they are present in the telecom sector. They also provide installation and maintenance of electromechanical installations and artworks, tunnel lighting, light beaconing on runways of airports and airports, public lighting and much more. To support the telecom team, they are currently looking for site managers.
