Function

As a Fiber Optic Site Manager, you will be responsible for the complete management of your sites within telecom projects. You will follow up projects from study and design to execution and delivery, ensuring smooth coordination of all parties involved.

Your responsibilities:

Project follow-up & organisation

• Managing construction sites from A to Z (study, permits, planning and execution)
• Reporting to the project leader on progress and challenges
• Ensuring efficient organisation and execution of works

Steering & coordination

• Leading executive teams such as fibreglass welders, blowing teams and assembly teams
• Coordinating various parties on site
• Ensuring smooth cooperation and clear communication

Stakeholder management

• Regular contact with clients, supervisors and other stakeholders
• Seek customer-oriented solutions to technical or operational challenges

Quality, safety & sustainability

• Ensuring quality and safety on site
• Applying environmentally conscious and sustainable solutions
• Taking responsibility for all sites within your projects

Profile

You are a strong organisational and technical talent with a passion for telecoms and infrastructure. You know how to motivate teams and always keep an overview, even in complex projects.

• Bachelor's degree in ICT, telecoms, electricity or equivalent through experience
• Knowledge of telecoms and/or ICT is a strong asset
• Familiar with MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
• Eager to learn and quick to get away with new tools and systems
• Strong in organisation, quality and safety
• Leadership skills and motivational attitude
• Knowledge of fibre optics is a plus
