Site manager Earthworks

Function

• Coordinating and supervising groundworks on site in accordance with the schedule and health and safety regulations.
• Managing and supervising workers and subcontractors on site.
• Checking the quality of the work carried out and its compliance with the specifications.
• Monitoring requirements for materials, machinery and staff.
• Reporting on progress and any issues to the project manager or employer.

Profile

• Experience in the infrastructure sector is a major advantage;
• Do you have experience as a labourer and the drive to progress to the role of site manager? You’ll get your chance too!
• A hands-on approach; not afraid to roll up your sleeves
• Strong communication and leadership skills to manage a team of colleagues and subcontractors
• A healthy dose of common sense
• Flexibility regarding working hours (starting early) and travel (East Flanders) is essential
