Function

Your responsibilities as site manager:

• Layout and accurate dimensioning of works;
• Organisation, monitoring and control of execution - both of own staff and subcontractors;
• Supervision of social documents and correct site registration;
• Preparation of daily reports and communication with the human resources department;
• Maintain daily yard diary;
• Quality control and compliance with safety measures;
• Coordination with internal precast, metal and joinery departments;
• Materials management and site logistics;
• Active participation in site meetings;
• Maintain professional contacts with builders and designers;
• Guidance on provisional delivery and follow-up on outstanding issues;
• Reporting to the project manager.

Profile

• Training: You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Engineering or equivalent through experience;
• Experience: You have at least 5 years of relevant experience as a site manager, preferably in the non-residential sector;
• Languages: You communicate fluently in Dutch and English (spoken and written);
• Certification: Possession of a VCA certificate for managers is a plus;
• Technically strong: You have an affinity for large-scale construction projects;
• Team player: You know how to motivate colleagues and achieve goals together;
• Communicative skills: You know how to communicate information clearly and convincingly to different stakeholders;
• Empathic and flexible: You understand others, adapt smoothly and remain calm under pressure;
• Driven and positive: You take a proactive approach and know how to see the positive even in difficult situations.
