Service technician
Function
- As Heating Systems Service Technician you ensure that heating and HVAC installations continue to operate reliably, safely and energy-efficiently for industrial and residential clients.
- You carry out maintenance, inspections and repairs, and quickly trace technical faults back to a clear cause and a lasting solution.
- On site, you systematically examine the installation: you check components, take measurements where necessary and calibrate installations correctly.
- Clients rely on your calm approach when a heating system fails. You communicate clearly about the situation, the proposed action and the further follow-up.
- You record work carried out, materials used and points of attention, so that colleagues and clients have access to an accurate technical history.
- You work from Antwerp and travel to various sites and installations. As a result, no two working days look exactly the same.
- Within a group that brings together various building technologies, you also gain insight into related disciplines such as industrial electricity, solar panels, pump systems and other HVAC applications.
Profile
- You have approximately 3 to 5 years of experience as a service technician, maintenance technician or in a similar technical role involving heating or HVAC installations.
- A technical qualification or equivalent practical knowledge helps you to understand diagrams, components and faults with ease.
- You work accurately and safely: a correct diagnosis is more important to you than simply replacing a part quickly.
- You are able to work independently on site, but coordinate in a timely manner with colleagues when a problem involves multiple technical disciplines.
- You communicate in a client-focused and clear manner. This is essential for making technical information understandable and building trust during interventions.
Organisation
The organisation operates as a total supplier within HVAC and focuses on projects in the commercial, industrial and residential market. Through a professional and well-structured approach, clients are supported with well-considered technical solutions.
Strong emphasis is placed on a thorough analysis of each file, followed by precise coordination and follow-up. In this way, even complex projects are realised efficiently and within the predetermined schedule.
Offer
- You will receive a market-conform salary in line with your experience as a Heating Systems Service Technician and your technical responsibilities.
- You will receive the necessary tools and support to carry out interventions safely, professionally and efficiently.
- You will work from Antwerp across various locations, with a job that offers variety between maintenance, diagnosis, repair and client contact.
- You will join an organisation with activities across multiple building technology domains. This offers opportunities to further develop your knowledge of HVAC and related technologies.
- You can count on a practical, people-oriented working environment in which technical expertise, collaboration and clear communication are central.
- The specific terms of employment and the full package will be discussed transparently during the further selection process.
