Senior Accountant

Function

As a senior accountant, you are the point of contact within your files. You combine accuracy and responsibility with a coaching and customer-oriented approach. You manage your own client portfolio from A to Z, supervise younger colleagues and think along about optimisations within the team.

What to expect:

• Complete follow-up of files from A-Z, including tax obligations and reporting.
• Preparation of financial statements, balance sheets and tax returns.
• Close collaboration with colleagues within accountancy and consultancy.
• Customer contact: you cap needs and translate them into targeted solutions.
• Supervise and manage junior colleagues within your team.

You will have room to develop your own style and delve further into the profession, whether it is towards strategic consulting, digitalisation or people management.

Profile

We are looking for a solid accountant with a sense of initiative and a warm, people-oriented approach.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in an economic field.
• At least 5 years' experience in accountancy and taxation, preferably within an accounting or auditing firm.
• Strong in communication - both internally and towards customers.
• Team player with coaching flair and organisational acumen.
• Language skills: Dutch fluent, French or English are nice.
