Representative
Function
As Representative in the region South-West Flanders You will help build long-term customer relationships in a technical B2B environment. Following a thorough induction period, you will become the commercial point of contact for installers and installation companies, translating their needs into suitable product solutions and expert advice.
You will combine customer relationship management, a technical interest and commercial acumen in a field-based role offering the necessary autonomy. You can count on support from the office team and a clear line of reporting within the sales team.
- You will visit existing customers and discuss quotations, product proposals and commercial opportunities.
- You will provide first-line support for enquiries and complaints, always with a focus on customer satisfaction and prompt follow-up.
- You will develop new client relationships and spend approximately 20% of your time spent on prospecting.
- You identify the needs of installers, ask targeted questions and translate technical challenges into practical solutions.
- You will work closely with the office staff and report to the sales manager at set times.
- You will present a wide range of HVAC, heating and plumbing products in a professional and persuasive manner.
In this role, we expect you to contribute commercially, take the initiative and actively monitor the market. You’ll be where the customer is, think in terms of solutions and maintain a visible presence in your region.
Profile
For this role, we are looking for an experienced sales professional with a strong interest in technology and a proven track record in the sale of heating systems. You are comfortable in a field-based role, can work independently and, at the same time, recognise the importance of collaboration and consultation in a technical sales environment.
- You have 5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar commercial role, preferably in the sale of heating systems or HVAC-related products.
- You have a technical qualification, for example in electromechanics or air conditioning, or you have gained equivalent practical experience within the sector.
- You are familiar with heat pumps, gas boilers and (water-based) heat distribution systems, and can provide clear and accurate advice on these topics.

- You are proactive; prospecting and follow-up are part of your day-to-day approach.
- You are commercially driven, demonstrate perseverance and draw energy from building long-term relationships.
- You work in a structured manner, report accurately and remain precise and customer-focused, even in a dynamic environment.
Experience of working with installers as a target group is a clear asset. A customer-focused mindset, technical curiosity and a healthy commercial drive are just as important to us as your CV.
