Investment relationship manager

Function

As an Investment Relationship Manager, you are the point of contact for clients who wish to grow their assets in a considered manner. You combine substantively strong investment advice with a personal approach and help build lasting client relationships.

Your duties will include:

• You guide clients in their investment decisions and clearly map out their financial objectives, expectations and risk profile.
• You discuss existing investments and contribute ideas for optimisations within the portfolio.
• You monitor financial markets and keep your knowledge of investment products and strategies up to date.
• You develop investment proposals and guide clients through their implementation.
• You actively manage your client portfolio and ensure smooth and personal service delivery.
• You identify additional needs and opportunities, and where relevant draw links to other financial solutions.
• You work closely with colleagues and contribute to the professional and client-focused operation of the office.

Profile

For this role, preference is given to someone who already has experience in investments, wealth management or a similar financial environment. In addition, you will largely recognise yourself in the following:

• You preferably have relevant experience in investment advice or wealth management.
• You have a strong interest in financial markets and keep up to date with developments in the investment world.
• You are commercially minded, but work from a foundation of trust and substantive expertise. A hard-sell mentality does not suit this environment.
• You ask the right questions, listen to your client and are able to translate needs into suitable advice.
• You are proactive and independently identify commercial opportunities within your client portfolio.
• You are sociable, approachable and feel at ease in personal client contact.
• You are more of a level-headed and down-to-earth type rather than someone who seeks the spotlight.
• You enjoy working with colleagues and help to create a positive team atmosphere.
• A PCP certificate is an advantage; candidates who are in the process of obtaining one are equally welcome to apply.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch. You are able to get by sufficiently in French.
• A specific degree is less decisive than your relevant knowledge, experience and commercial mindset.
