Quality manager

Function

As Quality Manager, you are the reference when it comes to food safety and quality standards. You ensure the correct interpretation and application of applicable standards such as IFS, BIO and FCA and monitor compliance within the organisation.

You carry out internal audits and coordinate external audits, closely following up corrective actions. You are also responsible for the HACCP system and make adjustments where necessary when quality deviations are detected. You actively contribute to the development and embedding of a strong food safety culture and you supervise order and cleanliness.

Furthermore, you monitor samples according to the existing analysis plan in cooperation with an external laboratory and ensure that the quality manual is kept up-to-date. Your duties also include managing complaints, analysis plans, pest control, calibrations, hygiene inspections, training plans and product specifications (raw materials and finished products).

Profile

• You have at least a bachelor's degree, preferably in a food or agro-related field (e.g. food technology, agro and biotechnology).
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and can express yourself well in English and French.
• You are hands-on and pragmatic: you think in solutions and actively seek cooperation.
• You stand firm, dare to make decisions and know how to communicate your views clearly.
• You have a thorough knowledge of applicable food safety legislation and regulations.
• You work accurately, have an eye for detail and attach great importance to structured and consistent work.
• You are stress-resistant and know how to set priorities efficiently.
