Project leader new building
Function
As a Project Manager, you will lead unique construction projects from start to finish and, together with your construction team, ensure high-quality delivery within budget and on schedule.
Your responsibilities:
- You will coordinate the implementation of various construction projects (classes 6, 7 and 8), from structural work through to finishing.
- You will be responsible for monitoring quality, planning, the budget and deadlines.
- You draw up the project schedule and monitor it closely.
- You will be responsible for purchasing materials and coordinating subcontractors.
- You are responsible for ensuring thorough work planning and efficient site organisation.
- You will work closely with BIM project planners, procurement officers, site coordinators and tradespeople.
- You will monitor the work and make adjustments where necessary.
You will be the point of contact for architects, clients and other stakeholders; together with the Business Unit Manager and fellow project managers, you will work to ensure the successful completion of every project.
Profile
You combine a strong technical background with the necessary experience in the construction sector. With your approach, sense of responsibility and communication skills, you are able to ensure projects run smoothly.
You recognise yourself in the following characteristics:
- You hold a Master’s degree in Architecture or have equivalent qualifications through relevant experience.
- You have several years’ experience as a Project Manager or Site Manager in the construction sector.
- You have a strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction processes.
- You are a good communicator and enjoy working with the various parties involved.
- Respect, open communication and a team-oriented approach are values that define you.
