Infrastructure project manager
Function
As an infrastructure project manager, you will bear responsibility for projects within infrastructure.
You will be responsible for the entire project with a focus on sewerage and road construction, from start-up to final delivery.
You ensure optimal organisation of the work on site and always maintain an overview of the planning, budget and quality.
In cooperation with your team and the site managers, you ensure clear management of employees, subcontractors and suppliers.
You draw up realistic work schedules, monitor progress, and meticulously control agreements made and resources allocated.
Managing technical files and following up implementation plans are among your duties.
You will also be the central point of contact for clients, municipal authorities and other stakeholders, making you a crucial link within the project team.
Finally, you regularly inform management of the current state of affairs, ensuring that all parties are kept informed of project progress in a timely manner.
Profile
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in construction engineering, a related field, or you can demonstrate equivalent experience.
- You can present at least 5 years of relevant work experience in infrastructure projects and have a background in site monitoring.
- Through your expertise, you are well versed in the applicable safety regulations and quality standards within the construction industry.
- You are communicatively strong, combine a practical approach with analytical thinking skills and work independently and within a team.
- You take a proactive approach, think in solutions and enjoy taking responsibility.
- Your flexible attitude allows you to adapt quickly to different circumstances or new assignments.
