Function

What does your day look like as a project manager?

• You are the driving force behind modular construction projects in steel and container construction.
• From the moment the project comes in, you take over everything: you analyse the file, plan the works and put everything on track.
• Architects, technical partners and suppliers, you interact on a daily basis to ensure everyone is on the same page.
• You will often be present on site yourself, taking charge of execution, checking quality, safety and planning and cooperating practically where necessary.
• You will manage the site manager(s), regular subcontractors and a mechanic on a daily basis and make sure everyone knows what is expected of them.
• You dare to switch quickly between different projects, spread all over Belgium, and have no problem moving around.
• Clear administration, such as keeping the site diary or orders, is something you are happy to take on board.
• You will be the point of contact for all stakeholders and help where practical challenges arise.

Profile

For our client, we are looking for a candidate with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience as a project manager in the construction industry.

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or similar.
• You know perfectly how to translate plans and technical diagrams into strong execution in the field.
• Finishing, general construction and modular systems hold no secrets for you.
• You are practical, solution-oriented and not afraid to jump in on site yourself.
• Flexibility comes naturally to you, as does your enthusiasm for working on sites all over Belgium.
• You enjoy working independently but feel at home in a small, close-knit team.
• You have a perfect command of Dutch, are fluent in English and possibly a mouthful of French.
