Our client, a leading player in the laying of fibre-optic networks, is looking for a Telecom Project Leader for the Antwerp region.

As Telecom Project Manager, you will be responsible for the complete implementation of large-scale telecom projects in the Antwerp region. You supervise the entire process: from study, design and price calculation to organisation, realisation and final delivery of optical fibre networks. You focus on efficient project management, high-quality results and satisfied end users.

Your main tasks:

• Independently leading and coordinating all phases of telecoms projects, from quotation to final delivery
• Managing and motivating a team of site managers and technical staff
• Regular site visits and liaising with clients, subcontractors, customers and stakeholders
• Ensuring a customer-oriented approach and quick solutions to technical challenges
• Allocate and monitor budgets, KPIs, quality and safety at all project sites
• Financial and administrative follow-up of the projects and reporting to the Telecom Business Unit Manager
• Continuous pursuit of sustainable, innovative and efficient solutions in collaboration with the team

Profile

For this technical leadership position, we are looking for a real people manager who knows how to get the best out of teams and who enjoys carrying challenging telecom projects from A to Z.

You possess:

• A master's degree in industrial engineering or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, electromechanics or equivalent through relevant experience in telecoms
• A hands-on mentality and excellent communication skills
• Prior knowledge or experience within telecoms is a big plus
• Fluent in Dutch and French, orally and in writing
• A proactive, flexible work attitude and strong organisational skills
• Coaching and motivational leadership skills
• Eye for quality, safety, budget and sustainability in projects
• Respect for environment and encouraging attitude towards ecological solutions
