Project Manager
Function
Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for engineering and infrastructure? Do you want to play an essential role in renewing and keeping railway projects safe? For our client, a leading player within rail infrastructure and technical installations, we are looking for an organisationally strong and connecting Project Leader Seinrichting in the Flemish Brabant & Limburg region.
In this position, you take charge of various projects involving signalling, signalling and electromechanical installations on the railways. You are the point of contact for both planning and execution, dividing your time flexibly between the office, the site and the customer. Your duties include:
- Plan, prepare, coordinate and follow up on railway signalling projects.
- You will be responsible for both technical, financial and safety aspects of your projects.
- On a regular basis, you will attend site meetings and client meetings, discussing progress and streamlining collaboration.
- You delve into technical specifications and client requirements and implement them in practice.
- Direct management of site managers and subcontractors, and close cooperation with other project managers for optimal resource planning.
- You proactively report on the financial status (P&L) and overall progress of the projects.
- You ensure strict compliance with all safety, quality and sustainability standards.
- You encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing and a positive team atmosphere.
- You know how to respond quickly to fluctuations within your team and on the projects themselves and work together to find smart solutions.
Profile
- You have at least a bachelor's degree (preferably in electromechanics, electrical engineering, industrial sciences or a technical field).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a project manager, site manager, work planner, or production supervisor in a technical environment.
- Affinity with electromechanics, industrial plants or railway engineering is an asset.
- Knowledge of construction and earthworks is nice.
- You are a true organiser, punctual, accurate and communicative: both written and verbal.
- You excel at collaborating and know how to motivate people.
- Fluent knowledge of MS Office (Excel & Outlook).
- Sense of sustainability, environmental awareness and innovative solutions.
- You speak fluent Dutch; knowledge of French and/or English is a plus.
