As a Project Support Engineer in Lokeren, you will gradually build up your expertise in fire detection and fire safety. Your tasks:

  • You will carry out service calls, maintenance work and technical repairs.
  • You will inspect and test existing and new installations.
  • You will be responsible for the start-up and commissioning of installations from start to finish.
  • You will work closely with the project manager and end clients to ensure projects are delivered to the correct technical standards.
  • You will monitor the operation of systems and contribute ideas on possible optimisations.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a motivated technical professional with a strong grounding in electrical engineering or electronics and the ambition to develop further within fire detection and security technology. A thorough knowledge of fire detection is not a requirement. More important are your technical interest, eagerness to learn and sense of responsibility. You will have the opportunity to build up your expertise step by step through training and practical experience.

Your profile:

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical subject, preferably with a background in electrical engineering, electronics or electromechanics.

  • You have a practical and solution-oriented approach.
  • You are keen to develop your skills further in the areas of service, start-up and project-based technical support.
