Project Manager Industrial Energy and Piping Projects
Function
To support the continued growth of the company, a Project Manager is sought to coordinate and monitor industrial energy and piping projects.
The Project Manager works closely with customers, suppliers, project staff and the business managers and is responsible for the technical, organisational and financial follow-up of projects from start-up to completion. Within this position, the candidate will have the opportunity to further develop his or her technical and organisational expertise within a varied industrial environment.
The Project Manager is responsible for:
- Monitoring and coordination of industrial projects
- Conducting technical discussions with customers and suppliers
- Preparing, planning and organising work
- Monitoring planning, budget and execution
- Managing fitters and subcontractors
- Following up on material orders and deliveries
- Analysing and solving technical challenges
- Attending site meetings and conducting site visits
- Maintaining consultation with case managers and the project team
- Overseeing quality, safety and efficiency throughout project implementation
Projects
The company realises engineering solutions within a variety of industrial applications, including:
- Energy installations
- Compressed air
- Steam
- Thermal oil
- Superheated water (>100°C)
- Central heating and hot water systems
- Energy recovery
- Compressed air systems
- Industrial piping (natural gas, ice water, technical gases, product piping, etc.)
- Industrial process environments
- Steel structures
Support and guidance will be provided by experienced colleagues to carry out this role.
Profile
- Possesses a bachelor's or master's degree in Electromechanics, or has accumulated equivalent experience
- Has a strong interest in industrial techniques and has a good technical understanding
- Can correctly interpret technical plans and diagrams
- Works in a structured, precise and independent manner
- Possesses strong communication skills and a solution-oriented attitude
- Takes responsibility and can manage a team efficiently
- Has a good knowledge of MS Office
- Experience in project follow-up or project management is an asset
Organisation
The company works on a project basis to support customers from A to Z on technical and energy issues. In doing so, it actively thinks about ways to optimise energy consumption and save costs.
Based on the customer's needs, a technical solution is worked out, including a calculation of the payback period of the investment. The company also supervises projects concerning capacity expansion, modernisation or replacement of existing installations. Here, we always examine which solution best suits the customer's specific application in technical, economic and operational terms.
