Project Manager, Foundations, West Flanders

Location: Kallo, East Flanders, Belgium Specialisation: Construct Engineering Salary: € 3.500 - € 4.500 gross / month Contracttype: Indefinite time Hours: 40 hrs/week Work ritme: Day

Function

  • As a Foundations Project Manager, you will manage several sites in West Flanders and ensure effective coordination between technical implementation, planning, health and safety, and administration.
  • On a daily basis, you remain closely involved in site operations and devise appropriate solutions as circumstances change.
  • You will coordinate the work of various site managers, acting as a clear link to the project management team.
  • You will organise, supervise and monitor the progress of foundation works.
  • You will oversee the technical implementation and ensure that plans, work instructions and schedules are followed correctly.
  • Monitoring compliance with statutory requirements and internal guidelines on quality, safety and the environment is also part of your role.
  • Drawing up site reports and handling the administrative processing of the work.
  • Several site managers provide support, give guidance and ensure timely and clear communication with the project management team.
  • Analysing technical challenges on site and turning them into practical and safe solutions.
  • Coordinate with the plant maintenance department to ensure that machinery continues to operate reliably and remains available at all times.
  • You regularly travel to construction sites throughout Flanders and, from time to time, to Wallonia.

Profile

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in the construction sector or an industrial environment.
  • An interest in specialised foundation techniques and the technical aspects associated with them.
  • Fluency in Dutch and the ability to express yourself professionally in French and English.
  • Leadership combined with a collaborative approach and the ability to manage colleagues clearly and respectfully.
  • During busy periods, keep a clear overview and remain solution-oriented when the schedule or implementation is under pressure.
  • Accuracy in technical monitoring, reporting and administrative processing.
  • You must hold a Category B driving licence and be willing to travel to various sites in West Flanders.
