Project manager techniques
Function
As a 'Technical Project Manager', you will be responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects from start to finish.
Your duties will include:
- Organising and launching the projects.
- Day-to-day contact with customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Developing solutions for clients to meet their needs.
- Coaching and managing our own teams and subcontractors.
- Monitoring the financial performance of the projects for which you are responsible.
You will ensure that projects run smoothly and efficiently from a technical perspective, with a strong focus on quality assurance and customer focus. You will act as the operational hub for the implementation phase, working closely with internal project support teams and external partners.
Profile
For this challenging role, we are looking for someone with a strong technical background and relevant experience in project management. You are a true team player who is not afraid to take the lead and can adapt flexibly. Specifically, we are looking for:
- Relevant technical training and/or work experience.
- A friendly manner and excellent communication skills.
- The ability to function as an operational force within a project environment.
- Not daunted by administrative tasks and highly skilled at organising work.
- A valid driving licence B.
- Computer skills at a professional level.
- A solution-focused approach and attention to the financial aspects of projects.
You are someone who can bring structure to complex situations and excels both on site and in administrative processes.
Organisation
Our client is a major player in West Flanders in the HVAC sector, amongst others. Their HVAC division is now very extensive, enabling them to carry out both industrial and residential projects. Within this department, they also offer a technical service to resolve technical faults as quickly as possible. This client has over twenty years’ experience. Their work is mainly focused on public sector projects such as social housing, schools and hospitals.
Quality and customer focus are two key principles that have been held in high regard since the company was founded. As a result, these principles, combined with their areas of specialisation, enable them to make a significant impact on the construction market
