Project Manager for Civil Engineering and Buildings

Function

Are you an experienced Project Manager ready to take on a key role in challenging construction projects? As a Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind projects in the Antwerp and Brussels regions. You will be responsible for both the operational delivery and the strategic planning and coordination of either one large site or several smaller sites. You’ll act as the linchpin between all parties involved – such as the client, architects, engineering firms and internal teams – and ensure that projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.

• Analysing project files and drawing up implementation plans.
• Ensure the progress, quality and safety of the works throughout all phases.
• Organising and chairing site meetings, and following up on decisions.
• Drawing up progress reports and monitoring the implementation budget.
• Overseeing the provisional and final handover of projects.

Profile

• A degree in Architecture and at least 5 years’ relevant experience in managerial roles on major construction projects.
• Knowledge of ISO and VCA procedures.
• Excellent coordination and organisational skills, and the ability to cope well under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, combined with a talent for negotiation.
• A natural motivator and team player with a solution-focused approach.
• A good knowledge of French and English is an advantage.
• You are conscientious and take pride in delivering high-quality projects.
