Project Manager

Function

• You take on projects as soon as a commercial opportunity arises and work with the sales team to further develop the technical solution.
• You engage in dialogue with the customer to gain a clear understanding of their needs and expectations.
• You translate customer enquiries into technically feasible and optimal solutions.
• Right from the start, you’ll take full responsibility for your projects, from start to finish.
• You will act as the main point of contact for customers, colleagues and suppliers.
• You’ll contribute ideas on concepts and technical solutions.
• You will monitor the progress, quality and delivery of your projects.
• You monitor projects closely and identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation wherever possible.
• You will play an active role in the technical design and development of your projects.
• You spend approximately 50% of your time on design and technical drafting using Creo Direct Modelling.
• You will monitor technical feasibility and ensure that agreements are correctly implemented.
• Following a thorough in-house training programme, you will assume overall responsibility for your projects.

Profile

• You hold a Master’s degree in a technical subject or have equivalent qualifications through relevant experience.
• You have experience as a Project Manager, Mechanical Engineer, mechanical designer or technical draughtsman and are ready to take the next step.
• You have a keen interest in technology and mechanical engineering.
• You have a good technical understanding and are able to analyse technical issues independently.
• You enjoy producing technical drawings and designs.
• Experience with Creo Direct Modelling is a major asset.
• You have strong communication skills and enjoy engaging with customers and colleagues.
• You are customer-focused and able to translate technical complexity into practical solutions.
• You are critical, meticulous and actively contribute ideas for improvements.
• You’re a real team player, but you also like to take responsibility on your own.
• You show initiative and thrive in a role that offers a great deal of freedom and autonomy.
