Project Manager

Function

As Project Manager In Limburg, you’ll be in charge of day-to-day operations on site and oversee the progress of challenging construction projects, with a clear focus on industrial construction and projects that combine steel, traditional construction and hybrid designs. You will work directly on site, liaise effectively with internal teams, subcontractors and clients, and ensure that quality, scheduling, safety and efficiency remain in balance.

You will be given a role with a great deal of responsibility and the freedom to organise your own work. In this role, you will be the point of contact for project delivery and will ensure that the project brief is translated into a smooth implementation on site. You will work closely with the planning, costing and engineering teams, and use ERP systems to ensure that monitoring and reporting are carried out efficiently.

Your key responsibilities:

• Manages the construction site from start to finish and oversees the schedule, budget, quality and safety;
• Manages operational teams and subcontractors and keeps everyone on the same page;
• Monitors progress using ERP tools and ensures that administrative and operational follow-up is carried out correctly;
• Identifies risks, resolves operational bottlenecks and contributes ideas for efficient solutions;
• Maintains clear and professional communication with all parties involved;
• Helps to ensure a smooth handover between the preparation, implementation and completion of the project;
• Monitors quality on site and makes adjustments where necessary to ensure deadlines are met.

You will be working in an environment where short lines of communication, a hands-on approach and in-depth expertise are key. The projects are mainly based in Limburg and the wider region, with a strong focus on industrial construction and a growing role in complex construction projects.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a project manager with some initial experience, preferably in an environment where site supervision, planning and coordination are key priorities. Experience in industrial construction is a strong asset, but candidates with an aptitude for traditional construction or hybrid projects will certainly also be considered.

We are looking for someone who takes responsibility, works in a structured way and maintains a clear overview, even as projects become more complex. A qualification is an advantage, but your ability to learn, your drive and your practical approach are just as important.

What we’d like to see again:

• experience as a project manager, site manager or in a similar operational role in the construction industry;
• a strong interest in the procurement and delivery of construction projects;
• a good working knowledge of, or a willingness to quickly learn, ERP systems;
• good organisational and communication skills;
• a hands-on approach and a keen desire to be present on site;
• the ability to manage various parties efficiently and ensure that agreements are followed up;
• an interest in industrial construction, general construction or a combination of both;
• a willingness to learn through in-house training and guidance;
• a Category B driving licence and the ability to travel easily to construction sites in the Limburg region.
