Project Manager

Function

As Project Manager at Fetch You will manage your projects from start to completion and oversee the schedule, budget, quality and communication. You will be the main point of contact for internal stakeholders, clients and external partners, and you will ensure that agreements are clear, risks are identified in good time and projects progress efficiently.

In this role, you will combine a structured approach with decisiveness and maintain a clear overview, even when several projects are running simultaneously. You will monitor progress closely, coordinate where necessary and translate objectives into a workable plan. Your responsibilities will include, amongst other things:

• drawing up, monitoring and adjusting project plans, timetables and budgets;
• co-ordinating the relevant teams, suppliers and other stakeholders;
• monitoring the scope, quality and deadlines throughout the entire project;
• identifying bottlenecks, risks and opportunities, with clear follow-up;
• report on status, progress and results to the relevant parties;
• supporting decision-making through clear analysis, prioritisation and communication;
• ensure a smooth handover and the successful completion of every project.

You work in a structured manner, communicate clearly and maintain a hands-on approach. You also contribute ideas towards solutions, are not afraid to take responsibility and know how to rally people behind a shared objective.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager against a backdrop of 5 to 10 years in project work, coordination or operational management. You have strong analytical and communication skills, and you feel at ease in a role where you make a difference both in terms of content and organisation.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• a relevant degree or equivalent experience in project management, business, operations or a related field;
• at least 5 years’ experience in leading or coordinating projects;
• strong planning and organisational skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to prioritise;
• good communication skills in Dutch, and preferably also in English and/or French;
• the ability to bring together different stakeholders in a constructive manner;
• a proactive, results-oriented and solution-focused mindset;
• experience in reporting, monitoring deadlines and budget control;
• a hands-on approach and sufficient maturity to make decisions independently.

In addition, you are someone who maintains a clear overview in complex situations, switches easily between strategic and operational levels, and handles pressure and change professionally.

Organisation

Our client designs, supplies and maintains mechanical process installations for the food and drink industry. They do this through engineering, project management, implementation and maintenance.
