Project Manager

Function

• As a Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of various technical projects, coordinating the entire process from the initial start-up through to final handover and evaluation.
• You analyse the client’s specific needs and translate these into a comprehensive operational and technical plan. In doing so, you maintain a sharp focus on the commercial aspect: you constantly monitor the set KPIs relating to gross margin, profitability, planning and the contractual terms of the assignments.
• During the implementation of the projects, you will put together a high-performing team based on the technical specifications, comprising both internal and external stakeholders such as operators, subcontractors and colleagues from the warehouse and workshop.
• You act as the driving and motivating force on the shop floor, strictly monitoring safety (in accordance with VCA standards), quality and productivity, and proactively making adjustments where necessary.
• As the central and reliable point of contact for the customer, you will build a long-term relationship, quickly identify new commercial opportunities and generate additional turnover.
• Following completion, you will ensure that the project is properly wound up and evaluated.
• You are constantly striving to optimise operational processes and systems.

Profile

• A degree in a technical field.
• Several years’ project experience in a similar technical context.
• Strong communication skills and customer orientation.
• Be confident, be a coach, be flexible and independent.
• Strong people management skills.
• Solution-oriented and proactive.
