Our client, a leading player in telecom infrastructure, is looking for an experienced fibre-optic project manager. As fibreglass project manager, you are responsible for the complete realisation and follow-up of fibreglass projects. You maintain the overview, from preparation to delivery, and manage various teams within our organisation. Thanks to your efforts and direction, telecom networks are realised to the highest quality standards.

Concrete tasks within this position:

• Managing project teams and coordinating work on fibre optic installations.
• Establish, monitor and adjust project schedules, budgets and KPIs.
• Coach, motivate and develop city project managers, site managers and coordinators.
• Visiting sites and staying closely involved in practical implementation.
• Ensure excellent flow of communication between stakeholders, technicians and customers.
• Build lasting customer relationships and manage contacts commercially.
• Guaranteeing quality, safety and environmentally conscious solutions within each project.
• Ensure timely and correct delivery of all fibre networks.

Profile

Our ideal candidate brings the following skills and knowledge:

• Master's degree or equivalent through experience in a technical field.
• Strong affinity with telecom, infrastructure or fibre projects is a plus.
• Proven experience in project management (leading, coaching and analytically strong).
• IT-minded and excellent command of Excel and Office packages.
• Fluent communication in both Dutch and French. English is an asset.
• You are results-oriented, customer-oriented and have an eye for quality and safety.
• People manager and inspirer who motivates teams to be the best they can be.
• Environmentally aware, stress-resistant and flexible in a changing project environment.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
