Electrical engineering project engineer

Function

As a Project Engineer Electrical Engineering, you will be responsible for the preparation of various challenging projects.

Below is a sample of your duties:

• You carry out a thorough dossier and project analysis based on plans and specifications in preparation for calculation. In cooperation with the project manager, you also optimise the installations and prepare execution files.
• With a keen eye for detail, you make the necessary calculations and select, order and follow up on materials where necessary. Moreover, you ensure a clear handover of the file to the responsible project manager who further follows up the execution.
• The projects focus exclusively on electrical engineering in the tertiary sector and are mainly located in the Waasland region.

Profile

To be considered for this Project Engineer role, we ask that candidates largely possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field, with knowledge of electricity, lighting control, electrical signs, access control and emergency power.
• A fluent communicator in Dutch, with knowledge of French or English a plus.
• You already have experience or are willing to learn and develop your talents.

Organisation

Our client has been around for more than 90 years and specialises in everything from electricity, plumbing and HVAC in the tertiary and industrial sectors. They are active all over Flanders with more than 10 branches. They do everything in-house from engineering, calculation, drawing, execution, service and maintenance. In addition, they also have a number of sites with their own production site including sign building. For their Waasland branch specialising in electrical engineering in the tertiary sector, they are currently looking for a Project Engineer to strengthen the team.
