Project Engineer, Nuclear Projects
Our partner, a multidisciplinary contractor with many years’ experience in public works and industrial projects, is seeking a driven and technically proficient Project Engineer for Nuclear Projects. In this role, you will play a key part in a long-term and complex infrastructure project in Dessel, Antwerp, Belgium. You will be responsible for the coordination, quality control and technical implementation of nuclear projects of major societal importance. As a key figure within the organisation, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and experts, whilst ensuring that safety and quality are always the top priorities.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Monitoring quality and safety within the project.
- Coordinating work on site, with a focus on planning and deadlines.
- Translating technical specifications into practical and workable procedures.
- Working with experts and various stakeholders within a complex environment.
- Identifying areas for improvement and actively contributing to process optimisation.
Profile
Your profile:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in (civil) engineering or a relevant field.
- 3–5 years’ relevant work experience in infrastructure or (construction) project management.
- Experience working in an engineering consultancy is a major advantage.
- Excellent organisational skills; experience in structuring processes and procedures.
- Quality-oriented, analytically strong and with a keen eye for detail.
- Good communication skills and a team player.
