Project Controller

Function

As Project Controls Engineer You will play a key role in large, complex and strategically important projects where engineering, planning and management come together. Working at our client means working at a consultancy firm that operates for the biggest players in the construction industry. From project to project, you are the client's 'smart friend', where IT and construction come together. You ensure that projects are not only planned, but also strategically driven. By identifying risks, scenarios and dependencies, you provide the project team with the tools to make informed decisions. You are an indispensable link in consultation moments by translating complex information into clear choices and backing these up with analyses.

• You will advise the project manager on various areas of project controls.
• You translate the technical coherence of complex projects into clear and integral project planning.
• You will be responsible for the planning and control process, including scenario, risk and delay analyses.
• You will support changes and claims for the project team.
• You will use project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project for all analyses.

Profile

For this position, we are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills and a passion for data and analysis. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• A master's degree in a technical or related field (e.g. architecture, industrial engineering, or similar).
• Your master's degree is recognised by NARIC.
• Experience in a similar role within complex technical projects or willingness to learn this.
• Knowledge of planning and project control software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is a must.
• Skills in scenario and risk analysis and ability to clearly communicate solutions and advice to stakeholders.
• A proactive attitude and strong communication and analytical skills.
• English is the working language and you are also fluent in Dutch and/or French

They are mainly looking for Engineers with a penchant for data and analytics. Our client is a consultancy firm and works on behalf of the biggest players in the construction industry.
