Production planner

Function

As a Production Planner, you are responsible for the short- and long-term planning of production. You monitor the progress of orders and ensure that people, materials and capacity are deployed optimally.

• You translate forecasts and production orders into a feasible planning, taking into account available staff, materials and production capacity.
• You closely monitor orders, deliveries and production orders. You keep track of delivery deadlines and ensure that deviations are identified and corrected in a timely manner.
• You align the planning on a daily basis with production, sales, purchasing, supply chain, service and project management. In the event of delays, you look for solutions and adjust the planning accordingly.
• You coordinate the activities of subcontractors and monitor the availability of raw materials, materials and production drawings.
• You process production orders and ensure that all departments involved have the correct information to realise the planning.

Profile

• You hold a bachelor's degree and ideally have at least five years of experience as a planner within a production environment.
• You work proficiently with MS Office and ERP systems. Knowledge of Navision is an advantage.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch or French. Knowledge of English is a welcome bonus.
• You are analytical, accurate and strong at planning and organising.
• You communicate fluently, are resilient under pressure and enjoy working with different departments.

Organisation

Our client specialises in power management solutions (low voltage electrical power) and prefabricated modular data centres. They provide engineering solutions, mainly for sectors such as telecommunications, healthcare and utilities in which they have extensive expertise in custom development of voltage converters and emergency power groups. As a centre of excellence, they offer customised solutions that are developed and manufactured together with the customer. They have their own production and currently operate with more than 70 employees.
