Prevention consultant Level 2

Function

Our client is looking for a Level 2 Prevention Advisor who is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the safety and welfare policy within the organisation. You combine theoretical knowledge with a pragmatic approach and know how to motivate employees around working safely.

Your duties will include:

• Develop and update the Global Prevention Plan (GPP) and Annual Action Plan (JAP), including follow-up and advice to employees and managers
• Conducting risk analyses, workplace inspections and safety observations, and developing preventive measures
• Proactively identify potential risks and sensitise employees to contribute to them
• Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, including root-cause analyses and implementation of improvement actions
• Evaluating risks in maintenance works and following safety procedures and cooperation with external partners
• Organising training and raising awareness about safety (such as fire, first aid, machine instructions, toolbox meetings, etc.)
• Carrying out internal audits, following up on statutory inspections and supervising external inspections
• Managing safety documentation, monitoring KPIs and reporting to management

Profile

Our client is looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Diploma Prevention Advisor Level 2
• Thorough knowledge of safety, welfare and risk management legislation
• Strong communication skills and persuasiveness
• Ability to coach employees and raise safety awareness
• Discreet, proactive and reliable
• Fluent in the use of digital tools and HS software
