Planner & Capacity Coordinator

Function

  • You will draw up and manage the overall schedule for all projects and departments.
  • You will monitor the capacity of the draughtsman’s office, workshop and assembly department, and take action where necessary.
  • You’ll work with the management team to set priorities and keep a close eye on deadlines.
  • You monitor the progress of projects and proactively take corrective action where delays are likely to occur.
  • You will liaise closely with project managers and draughtsmen, and ensure that production files are processed accurately and on time.
  • You will closely monitor material requests and delivery times.
  • You will coordinate the transport and handling to ensure that everything is ready in good time for assembly.
  • By monitoring your KPIs, you ensure an efficient and optimised workflow across all shifts.

Profile

  • You have excellent communication skills – working with a diverse range of colleagues comes naturally to you.
  • You stay calm under pressure, think in terms of solutions and keep a clear overview, no matter how hectic things get.
  • You are decisive and are not afraid to hold others to account regarding deadlines and agreements.
  • You work in a systematic manner and have an eye for detail.
  • You’ll feel right at home in a coordinating role where independence is valued.
  • Teamwork is important to you, but you also work independently.
  • Experience in planning, production, steel construction or a technical sector is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems or planning tools is an advantage, but not a requirement.
