Personal Banker

Function

As a Personal Banker, you will be responsible for managing and growing an existing client portfolio.

Your range of tasks:

• Managing a portfolio of ± 400-500 households
• Advising around investments (focus on funds)
• Actively engage in cross-selling within the offering
• Assisting clients in wealth accumulation and succession planning
• Monitoring long-term customer relationships
• Achieving commercial objectives
• Regular evaluation of results and targets

You will take over an existing portfolio and ensure a smooth transition, with support from an experienced colleague in the initial phase.

Profile

For this position, we are looking for a commercial and customer-focused profile.

• Commercially minded and strong in customer relations
• Interest or experience in investments
• Communicative, friendly and professional
• Someone who builds trust without being “pushy”
• Ambition to grow towards private banking, but realistic in expectations
• Preferably someone with ties to the region
• PCP certificate is a plus
• Both school leavers and experienced profiles are eligible

Important: this is a role with limited vertical advancement opportunities, so we are looking for someone who is particularly keen to grow in content and delve into long-term client consulting.

You will join a locally anchored bank branch in the Tielt region with a strong reputation and a customer base of over 18,000 customers.

The firm consists of a team of about 12 employees and combines a personal approach with professional services. The focus is mainly on long-term investments and client relationships, with a portfolio of clients with average assets around €300K.
