Operations manager

Function

As operations manager You will act as the general manager’s right-hand person. You will also be responsible for the following tasks:

• You translate strategic objectives into concrete operational actions and results;
• You will analyse and optimise business processes in order to improve efficiency and quality;
• You will set KPIs and monitor dashboards and reports that provide insight into performance;
• You will monitor and improve operational and logistical processes;
• You identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and implement sustainable, long-term solutions;
• You will manage a team of six customer service staff, coaching them and helping them to develop their skills;
• You will identify and implement improvements in the areas of digitalisation, automation and AI;
• Three to four times a year, you will represent the organisation at international trade fairs across Europe;
• You are the link between sales, logistics, finance and IT.

Profile

Are you the operations manager what we are looking for?

• You have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar managerial role;
• You have obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree;
• You express yourself fluently in Dutch and English, and you can get by in French;
• You are analytical and data-driven set;
• You are a real peoplemanager and brings out the best in your team by coaching them;
• You see problems as a challenge;
• Ideally, you’ll have an interest in AI applications, digitalisation and automation. Knowledge of an ERP and/or CMR system would be an advantage.
