Operational Purchaser Construction

Function

For the vacancy of Operational Purchaser Construction at our client you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You order building materials, office supplies, tools and services according to the renovation projects
• You will carry out the job only in collaboration with the Operations Manager who fills this role today and will fully include you in the operation
• Requesting quotes and comparing prices and delivery times
• Administrative follow-up of orders and deliveries
• You keep an eye on market trends and respond to them in negotiations
• You will work Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm in a 40-hour schedule

Profile

For the vacancy of Operational Purchaser Construction, you recognise yourself in the following competencies:

• You have a first positive experience in purchasing or purchasing administration
• Affinity with the construction industry is a big plus, interest a must
• You have commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills
• You can work well independently and have a sense of responsibility
• You can express yourself professionally in Dutch and English
• Company closes collectively with construction leave in East Flanders
