Warehouse Supervisor

Are you a natural leader with a passion for logistics and process optimisation? We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for a rapidly growing manufacturing company in Aalst. In this key role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the warehouse and will ensure that all logistics processes run efficiently, safely and to a high standard.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Coaching and motivating warehouse staff, and creating a safe and efficient working environment.
• Optimising the day-to-day running of the warehouse and logistics processes.
• Processing and administrative follow-up of incoming and outgoing goods flows.
• Organising the receipt and inspection of raw materials and goods, as well as stock management.
• Monitoring the quality of products and logistics processes.
• Analysing and developing proposals for improvements and investments.
• Implementing approved projects and working closely with internal departments such as production, procurement, sales and IT.
• Selecting and implementing software solutions for the supply chain.
• Reporting to the Operations Manager.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a motivated and experienced professional who meets the following requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Logistics or equivalent through relevant work experience.
• At least 3–5 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in managing operational teams.
• A good knowledge of common IT applications.
• A good command of Dutch, supplemented by a good knowledge of English and French; knowledge of German would be an advantage.
