Logistics clerk

Function

As logistics clerk You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You process transport orders in the system and complete any missing details in the file;
• You pass on assignments to drivers and inform them and the client of any changes;
• You are in close contact with clients and drivers by phone and email;
• You book time slots for drivers at terminals and clients;
• You assist drivers with questions and problems and welcome them at the counter;
• You will also support the transport planner with day-to-day tasks.

Profile

Are you the logistics clerk to what we’re looking for?

• You preferably have prior experience in a similar role as a logistics/administrative assistant;
• You communicate fluently with drivers in Dutch and French;
• During busy periods you are able to maintain an overview and can manage several tasks simultaneously;
• You are comfortable working with computers;
• You have an interest in the transport and logistics sector.
