Will you be our new Logistics Coordinator?

As Logistics Coordinator in Genk (Limburg, BE), you will be the driving force behind the smooth and safe running of rail transport. You take care of the daily planning, communication and coordination of all logistics processes. You constantly switch between different parties such as operators, local train drivers, suppliers, customers and terminal managers. You also use your communication skills to quickly and clearly find solutions to challenges. Safe rail transport practices are central to this job, and you ensure that everyone strictly complies with safety standards. Together with your team, you work on an efficient and sustainable logistics system, with a focus on cooperation and customer orientation.

• Establish and keep up-to-date efficient rail transport planning.
• Ensure timely access to necessary information and resources for all stakeholders.
• Finding solutions where all involved are satisfied.
• Administrative tracking of operational data in various systems.
• Support colleagues both in the office and in the field as needed.
• Adhere to and promote strict safety rules.

Profile

What do we expect from you?

• Minimum 0-3 years' work experience, preferably in the logistics sector.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Experience in managing teams is a plus.
• You remain calm under pressure and communicate constructively, even in unexpected situations.
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
• Willingness to work 3x8 shifts (including weekends and public holidays).
• Colour blindness is an exclusion criterion due to safety requirements.
• Strong focus on safety, sustainability, and team spirit.
