Logistics coordinator

Function

What will be part of your duties as logistics coordinator at our client's Kortemark region?

• Your focus is on making, changing and (re)adjusting the logistics planning, so you complete the transport accurately
• You ensure that drivers have the correct transport documents
• Preparation of export documents (customs)
• You will manage a team of 2 logistics clerks, 4 warehouse workers and 2 forklift drivers
• Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the complete organisation and coordination of the logistics flow
• You are in direct contact with customers and drivers regarding questions on planning or delivery and help them with problems on complaints
• You ensure that quality requirements and hygiene rules are met

Profile

As a logistics coordinator, do you recognise yourself in the following points:

• You have at least an initial relevant experience behind you
• You radiate enthusiasm to your colleagues and bring a good vibe with you, even in stressful moments
• It is a job with a lot of responsibility and you take it on and know how to keep an overview
• Your geographical knowledge is good and you have ideally worked in a production environment
• Organisationally, you are creative, you can handle deadlines well, you are hands-on and you know how to prioritise
• Language knowledge NL/ENG/FR is a must, certainly all need not be equally perfect. Communication with the warehouse is in French.
• You are flexible towards hours and like to keep everything running smoothly. This also ensures that you need to be readily available in case of problems.
