Logistics Clerk – Dispatch

Function

For the vacancy of Logistics Clerk (Dispatch), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• You will be responsible for processing and following up on import documentation
• Customs processing of warehouse files
• You will monitor the shipment and keep customers informed in Dutch and English
• You will manage and process the data in the Excel spreadsheets
• You’ll work closely with the warehouse to keep yourself well informed
• You’ll be working flexible daytime hours but will complete your hours each day: Start times between 7.30 am and 10.00 am, finishing between 3.48 pm and 6.18 pm

Profile

For the vacancy for a Logistics Clerk (Dispatch), you should recognise yourself in the following competencies:

• You have had your first positive experience in logistics and have some prior knowledge of freight forwarding
• You can express yourself professionally in Dutch and English
• A customer-focused and proactive approach
• Knowledge of customs documents is an advantage; a keen interest in learning is essential
• If you have no experience, you will have completed a degree in logistics
