Logistics clerk

Function

As logistics clerk in Wielsbeke you will be the first point of contact for the drivers, you will also be responsible for the following:

• You will receive drivers at the counter;
• Register incoming and outgoing containers in the system;
• Arriving containers you check for damage or discrepancies;
• You will contribute to the smooth and safe flow of trucks on the site;
• You will liaise with internal colleagues, transporters and shipping companies;
• You check the gross weight of containers;
• Administration and data you process in a timely manner.

Profile

Are you the logistics clerk what we are looking for?

• You can work in an alternating shift system (5:00-13:00 and 11:00 to 19:00);
• You have initial experience within logistics or have a strong interest in it;
• You work accurately and independently;
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch, French and English;
• You communicate smoothly with drivers and colleagues;
• You are willing to open containers to carry out checks.
