Logistics clerk

Function

For the job of logistics clerk, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You will organise the transport of containers with external partners and follow up everything with their freight forwarders;
• You negotiate prices with external partners;
• You will be responsible for administration from A-Z
• You track payments through the system;
• You will write to prospects and maintain contact with existing customers;
• If interested, you can also take on a hatch of marketing (creating content, helping develop the website);
• You act as the CEO's right-hand man and he takes you under his wing.

Profile

Are you the logistics clerk we are looking for?

• You obtained a bachelor's degree in logistics management or business management and/or have a first relevant experience;
• You have the maturity to work autonomously and have a sense of responsibility;
• You are flexible and can quickly switch between different tasks;
• You express yourself fluently in Dutch, French and English;
• You contribute to improvement proposals and are not afraid to take initiative;

Organisation

Our Kortrijk-based client is a company engaged in the trading, packaging and distribution of fresh and frozen agricultural products, such as potatoes, vegetables and fruit. It supplies these products to retail, catering, food service and wholesale customers, both nationally and internationally. They are also a mandate holder of several production sites.
