Logistics clerk
Function
As a logistics clerk, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks
:
- As a logistics clerk, you will be responsible for seamlessly managing logistics services for a very large client operating in the toy sector.
- In this role, you act as a link between the client and internal departments, as well as external stakeholders:
- You will ensure that accurate data and schedules are available for inbound, outbound and value-added logistics (VAL) processes in the warehouse, and that specific customer agreements and requirements are met;
- Other tasks include the administrative processing and follow-up of logistics services for assigned customers, acting as the first operational contact person for assigned customers and as a link between the customer and internal departments (such as warehouse, customs, transport, ...), monitoring implemented processes and customer-related work instructions, periodic consultation and coordination moments with the customer, handling complaints, identifying potential problems/bottlenecks and brainstorming with the customer on solutions, and participating/thinking in the optimisation of processes (continuous improvement).
Profile
Who are you As a logistics clerk, you possess the following qualities:
- You have gained your first work experience in an administrative or customer-facing role;
- Knowledge or background within the logistics sector is a plus;
- You are customer-oriented and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- You have a good command of both Dutch and English;
- You will work in a day position from 08h -17h15;
- Preferably a bachelor's degree from an economics discipline;
- If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment, have guts and want to grow, you are the ideal candidate for this position.
