Logistics clerk
Function
As a logistics clerk, you will be responsible for the following range of duties:
- Managing logistics services for a major client operating in the toy sector;
- You act as a link between the customer and internal departments (such as the warehouse, customs, transport, etc.), as well as external stakeholders;
- You will ensure that accurate data and schedules are available for inbound, outbound and value-added logistics (VAL) processes in the warehouse, and that specific customer agreements and requirements are met;
- Other duties include the administrative processing and monitoring of logistics services for assigned clients, monitoring implemented processes and client-related work instructions, holding regular consultation and coordination meetings with the client, handling complaints, identifying potential problems or bottlenecks and brainstorming solutions with the client, and participating in and contributing ideas towards the optimisation of processes.
Profile
Who are you As a logistics clerk, you possess the following qualities:
- You have gained your first work experience in an administrative or customer-facing role;
- Knowledge or background within the logistics sector is a plus;
- You are customer-oriented and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- You have a good command of both Dutch and English;
- You will work in a daytime position from 08h -17h15 and flexible to work 1-2 times a week until 19h;
- Preferably a bachelor's degree from an economics discipline;
- If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment, have guts and want to grow, you are the ideal candidate for this position.
