We are looking for a Junior Planner for our client in Genk. Are you ready to take your first steps into the world of logistics? As a Junior Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring our daily transport planning runs smoothly.

• You’ll ensure that our impressive road and rail network keeps running smoothly by adjusting real-time timetables and resolving operational challenges;
• You will maintain close communication with drivers, subcontractors and colleagues;
• You’ll make sure everything runs smoothly;

Profile

For the role of Junior Planner in Genk, we are looking for a candidate who meets the following requirements:

• You are a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree or have completed a graduate diploma in logistics, supply chain or transport management;
• Challenges are right up your street; you’re a natural problem-solver;
• Can you handle stress? Absolutely! You keep a cool head in the hectic world of lorry scheduling;
• You have strong communication skills, are proactive and keen to learn;
• You are fluent in both Dutch and English;
• You’re ready to build a long-term career and you enjoy solving problems, making decisions and keeping things moving;
• You are willing to work a four-weekly shift pattern with start times between 7.00 and 10.00 and finish times between 15.36 and 18.36 (during the week from 10.00 to 18.36, you will also be on call).
