Junior planner

Function

As a (junior) planner, you will be part of an enthusiastic planning team and play an important role in the smooth organisation of temperature-controlled transports.

Thanks to thorough training, you will grow into the position step by step and have the opportunity to take on both operational and administrative responsibilities.

What will you do?

• You support the daily transport planning and ensure correct administrative follow-up
• You liaise with customers, drivers, carriers and internal departments
• You plan transport orders and quickly find solutions in case of changes or unexpected situations
• You follow up customer orders and ensure efficient execution of transports
• You process transport and cost data accurately in the various systems
• You take part in a rotation for permanence in case of incidents and during holidays

Profile

Who are you?

• You are driven and customer-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail, especially within temperature-controlled transport
• You communicate fluently and switch easily, and enjoy working hands-on in a dynamic environment
• You remain calm under pressure and handle changing situations flexibly
• You have a good knowledge of Excel and other common MS Office applications
• You have a good command of Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a bonus
• You have a strong interest in transport and logistics, experience is a plus but motivated starters are also welcome
