Function

What will your duties look like in the position of tank container planner at our Zeebrugge customer?

• You keep a daily eye on the drivers, making sure everything runs smoothly
• In case of questions or problems, you always know how to find a solution quickly
• You will be the point of contact for customers and inform them of the status of their order
• You will create new customer orders in the system and, together with your colleague, ensure the most efficient planning
• You arrange and book time slots at loading and unloading bays and terminals in a timely manner to ensure everything runs smoothly

Profile

What profile will our client located in the Zeebrugge region be looking for for the open vacancy of tank container planner?

• Are you an experienced transport planner, or eager to learn the trade?
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English - both with customers and drivers
• In addition, do you speak a word of French or German? Then you will score extra points!
• You always know how to keep an overview, even when it's busy
• Stress? That secretly gives you a bit of energy
• Your enthusiasm ensures that you enjoy taking up all aspects of the planning profession and do not shy away from new challenges
• As the flow of goods goes on day and night, our client considers it important that - within clear agreements - you are occasionally available outside standard office hours

Our client is a logistics service provider offering national and international road transport within Europe.

Their core business is container transport (dangerous goods, tank containers and box containers) and vehicle transport (vans and exceptional loads)
